“Head Hunters: Behind the Scenes" is an exciting new TV series that offers viewers a unique look into the world of contemporary glass art and the artists who push the boundaries of what's possible in the medium. Follow us behind the scenes and into our studio as we explore this visually captivating underground world of glass art.

In each episode, we challenge some of the most talented and innovative glass artists in the scene to create the world's largest borosilicate art glass pieces. These artists work in five-person teams, pushing their creativity and skill to the absolute limit. The results are sure to amaze and inspire.

 

Our virtual gallery offers viewers a chance to own a piece of art history, as we showcase these stunning glass art pieces. Artist

Executive Producer Jonathan Killman has been glassblowing since 1994. This founder and lead artist at Chong Glass has instructed 200+ students & apprentices.

SIMPSON

Artist

Matthew has been blowing glass since 1995. He worked at Chong Glass from 2000-2003 before going solo. He is currently a full-time glass artist.

WHITNEY HARMON

Artist

Whitney started lampwoking in 1999, doing basic production work until about 2007. He created the the ecolor changing quartz product, know as the Thermochromic Bucket.

Alex has been blowing glass for 25 years. He competed in and won the Glass Champs in Vegas and was the lead artist organizer for AGI.

Julie started teaching herself how to blow glass in 2001, spending over a decade traveling & taking classes from several of the world's most renowned glass masters, learning all she could about the many facets of working with glass. After taking a hiatus for a few years to focus on family & health, Headhunters is finally getting her back on the torch!
